How it works… Cambridge Guitar Club events aim to be friendly and informal, to encourage as many players as possible to perform. Naturally players may be nervous about performing and the Club tries to provide a supportive environment to help overcome this! Chat to other guitarists about what music they like, what they are playing at the moment, and about guitars and techniques to play guitar well. There is a kitchen with a kettle and you are welcome to bring drinks and food. You can get advice on how to learn the guitar, choosing a guitar and finding music to play. A wide variety of music is played from classical, flamenco, Spanish, South American and folk to pop, jazz, blues and ragtime.
